Hi, I'm Liz and I own Local Pet Sitters. I provide boarding, daycare and drop ins for dogs, cats, and small animals. I have been working with animals all my life, both large and small. I have gained a tremendous amount of animal experience through past and current jobs. To further my career choice I went to post secondary school for Animal Care and Health/ Science. My regular career is at the Ontario Veterinary hospital and have been a permanent employee for 8 years. I work along side ill/ surgical patients so animals coming into my care with medical requirements are a non issue. I live with my Husband, son and pets. We own a 10year old large breed dog, German Shepherd/ Husky cross that loves to have other dogs around to play as long as it’s not to rough. She is very well mannered, likes to play and yet very calm and quiet for those pets that like their space. She is with small breeds, cats and small Animals. we also own an indoor outdoor cat. We also have about 30+ cows on the property. Check out my photos for property and home pictures. I am located in the east end of Guelph on a large farm with lots of running space, private trails and a fenced in play area filled with toys. Trail walks are either on a long lead or off leash for trained with recall and have earned my trust. I have a private room for any boarding small animals or cats. It also has its own large cat tree. They are welcome to be free range in the home or stay in the room. I am insured and bonded and meet and greets are always provided before boarding or daycare services.
